Kylie & Rodneys' Wedding Day {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}

On Saturday I had the pleasure of witnessing (and capturing) the marriage of Kylie and Rodney.  I met Kylie & Rodney a few months ago when we did their engagement shoot and I just knew this was going to be one beautiful wedding!

Because there are some many favorite images I have decided to do separate blog posts – today’s will be the getting ready shots.  As soon as I walked into the house at Hope Island and saw Kylie’s stunning gown on the mannequin I was so excited.  Kylie was assisted on the day by her 4 stunning bridesmaids who had all come over from New Zealand to celebrate this special time.  Kylie and Rodney were married at St Peter’s Anglican Church at Southport which was stunning in every aspect and we then went to the Botanic Gardens for their formal shoot.  I am sure though most fun was had on the golf course “fanging” around in the buggies and striking a pose on the green!

Thanks also to Kylie for assisting me on the day – you were wonderful – now for your special day!  Kylie captured some beautiful images and the first one below is Kylies’ – just stunning!

So, without any further ado here are some images of Kylie getting ready!

{Kylie and Rodney thank you so much for choosing me to capture this special day – I look forward to being involved in your lives “down the track” and remember – there is nothing wrong with a bit of “cheese” if all else fails – lol}

Jillian & Andrew's Wedding Day {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}

On the 3rd October I finally got to shoot my first wedding ever booked for this gorgeous couple!   Jillian & Andrew were married at the beautiful St Mary’s Catholic Church at Beaudesert and it was such a lovely ceremony – I even shed a tear when Jillian walked down the aisle to Ave Maria arm in arm with her Father!

After the ceremony we utilised the grounds of the church / school and definitely got more than we expected (the bridal party will know EXACTLY what I mean lol).   Definitely made this wedding very rememberable.  We also ventured to the racecourse for some photos and Cass found a lucky horseshoe!   Thanks for coming along Cass to share the day with me!

{Jillian and Andrew – thank you for having me as your photographer.  I had a great time and hope you love your images captured on this special day}

Till next time – enjoy these pics (oh and the first one was taken by Cass from Grazac Photography – it is seriously one of my favs from the wedding}

Angie & Chris' Wedding Day

On the 26th September I was lucky enough to shoot the wedding for Angie & Chris who I met briefly at a 40th birthday party I photographed earlier this year.  As you will see Angie looked stunning in her wedding dress and her bridal party looked fantastic – such lovely colored bridesmaid dresses!  The wedding took place at Springfield Lake hotel with our formal shoot taking place at Springfield Lakes just before the dust storm set in!  I have to say these guys were one of my fav bridal groups in terms of fun and laughter – we had a ball on our formal shoot.

Special thank you to LK for assisting me on the day – you really do inspire me (and weddings should be your thing lol)!

{Angie and Chris thank you for allowing me to capture your special day.  I look forward to catching up again soon}

Melissa & Micah Wedding Day {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}

On the 19th September I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Melissa and Micah at Melissa’s parents house at Mt Cotton.  Melissa & Micah are from Sydney but came up to share their special day with their family – they were also joined by many friends from Sydney which was lovely.

Melissa would have to be one of the calmest brides I have seen with nothing being too much trouble and everything taken in her stride!  It was a casual (and quick…) ceremony but one that was filled with love and laughter and was later joined by the family dog!

After the ceremony we stayed around the property to do our “formal” shoot and then made our way up the top of my fav street in Mt Cotton for some more beautiful photos.  Their reception was held at The Polo club in Brisbane which was just so beautifully put together.

Also like to thank Nicole from Heart and Soul Photography for joining me – always a pleasure!

{sorry for the late post guys – thank you for choosing me to capture your special day – it has been so lovely getting to know you both and I loved our ride together in the “bridal” car!  Hope to meet up with you again one day}.

Here are just a few of my fav images from the day.
