Loving La Toriana {Brisbane Commercial Photographer}
Yesterday I was so lucky to finally meet the adorable Elizabeth, owner of La Toriana. I have been doing some photography for Liz over the last few months for her website and just knew we would get on amazingly – and we did. Elizabeth is up in Brisbane for a conference so we thought it would be a great opportunity to meet up and of course organise a divine photoshoot with some divine models. So yesterday we headed to Daisy Hill and had a fantastic time shooting some new clothing which Liz is selling through La Toriana. The weather was VERY overcast but we still managed to have a great shoot. If you have kids make sure you drop in to her website/blog. She sells the best quality designer brands and name brand clothing, gifts, toys and accessories.
Also want to give a shout out to Ah-Tissue (link here) who supplied the Pom Poms for the shoot and also Linda from Bubble & Sweet who supplied the yummy party food and styled it so beautifully. Also a massive thanks to Fiona – you were awesome, got some amazing images and played Mr Puppet so well : )
This is just a quick sneak peak but will have a blog post up by Sunday morning!

Dina & Sasha Part II {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
I have to say I am LOVING these photos. It is always fun seeing how you can transform a photo from a pretty nice photo to one that is going to make the client go “wow” (well you pray they will). The formal shoot for Dina & Sasha’s wedding was definately an interesting one. They wanted to do their photos at the Woolsheds and we got plenty of wool this day! When we got down there, we realised there was a MASSIVE festival going on – determined to get photos there we found parking and made the best of the situation! How surprised do you think we were when a flock of sheep walked past – and what is with the man wearing the “funky” outfit – so would that be a wolf dressed in sheeps clothing – mmmmmm!

Anyway needless to say we had a fun afternoon and finished it off with a coffee in the local coffee shop! We then made our way down to the Gold Coast to George’s on Paragon for a fun reception – it was seriously like nothing I have seen before and the emotion even got me!
{Dina & Sasha – thank you again for choosing me as your photographer. It has been wonderful getting to know you and I hope to keep in touch and even photograph that beautiful family you are going to have one day! Oh and don’t forget a move to Springfield Lakes is a good move lol}

Dina & Sasha's Wedding Day – Part I {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
As promised here is Part 1 to the wedding of Dina & Sasha (sneak peak and details about their wedding here). We captured some beautiful moments of the family getting ready for the big day – it was such a hive of excitement as Dina was surrounded with her parents and her brother and his family who came here from Germany where they live. Dina told me the other day that one of her nephews (the one with the camera in his hands 90% of the time) wants to come and live in Australia and work for me – how cute is that? I would have him any day.
I have a busy week this week with engagement shoots, newborn shoot and lots of other projects I am working on! Gearing up for Wedding Season too – I am pretty much fully booked for 2010 and 2011 is filling pretty quick too.
Oh and I haven’t forgotton about the competition either, just trying to team up with a few others to offer you something extra special!

Jocelyn & Greg's Wedding Day Sneak Peak {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
On Saturday I was lucky enough to capture the wedding of Jocelyn & Greg (you can see their e-shoot here). Jocelyn got ready at the beautiful Idealia Farm at Mt Tambourine, surrounded by her family and friends. Jocelyn looked absolutely beautiful in her vintage inspired gown and was complemented by her gorgeous bridesmaids and cutie pie flower girl (who did a wonderful job at scattering the rose petals at the ceremony I must say). Kylie Maree 2nd shot for me and she had the pleasure of spending some time with the guys getting to know them and capturing some fun shots! Not only did Jocelyn look stunning but Greg also looked terribly handsome. What a great match they make.
The ceremony was held at The Heritage Winery which has the most spectacular views over the Gold Coast. There was a little hold up on the wedding as one of the bridesmaids left her shoes at home – woops! Lucky enough they had some friends rush to Indooroopilly shopping centre and grab some new ones for her – and as I understand it they were guys that chose them too – good choice too I have to say!
Due to the little hold up we only had around 45 mins for the formal shoot but I think we got some beautiful images in the most AMAZING location.
As mentioned in my earlier posts (on my “old” blog) I am only doing quick sneak peaks for clients as I want to share the moment with them when they get to view their images – however I think these images will give you the feeling of how lovely their day was! It is so hard to only choose a few as there are so many that I love!

Welcome to My New Blogsite
Ok so if you have landed here you are probably thinking wow this looks different, and yes you are right – it is different. Very different. I made a decision a few months ago to try and have my blog and website combined as I spend so much time on updating my blog and my poor old website was never updated and had old images etc. As such, I found an amazing designer, Anna from Invite with Style and together we worked on getting it to a place where we felt it reflected my style and also provided new clients and retrning visitors with a user friendly site that was easy to navigate and also not full of flash (yes you can find me on the iphone now).
As with anything, there are a few things that need to be fixed and we will be working on getting this done ASAP. In the meantime, take a look around - the blog is here, there are information pages, you can connect with me on Facebook or Twitter by going to the Connect tab up the top and of course you can leave me a comment any time you please : )
I hope you love the new site and will come back and visit again. And because I can’t blog without a photo here is one of my favs from a shoot I did with Yummy Mummies & Mini Me last week – more information on this will be coming soon along with a competition to celebrate the launch!
Later this week I will be blogging a sneak peak from my gorgeous wedding on the weekend!
Till next time
