I love when I get the opportunity to do commercial shoots. It means I get to look at pretty products all day, as well as work with some wonderful suppliers and models. This shoot was for Cocoome Sleepware. Cocoome sleepware is a company owned and run by Amanda. Amanda is a self proclaimed pj lover and developed Cocoome through her desire to provide parents with only the best 100% pure organic cotton sleepware for their baby’s and children. Indigo Pearl Thailand Wedding Photographer | Jeff & Liz

Most of you will know that I recently travelled to Thailand to photograph Jeff and Liz’s wedding. It was one of the most amazing experiences I have had. Thailand itself is breathtaking and the people are just so lovely and friendly. The food is to die for and the weather is perfect(except for those daily, late afternoon monsoonal storms that caused a slight change in plans for the ceremony). I couldn’t think of a more perfect place to get married and I’m pretty sure Liz and Jeff are ever so grateful that they chose Thailand as their wedding destination. I know I am! I literally have thousands of photos from our time over there, but I thought I would just share a few with you for the moment. There will be a massive blog post in the future, but until then here is a tiny bit of Thailand for you to enjoy.

I must also say a massive thank you to Kylie for coming along, second shooting and enjoying a week in Thailand with me. We had an awesome time together and I’m so glad I got to share it with her. Oh and this one night, in Thailand…

Gold Coast Wedding Photographer | Amy & Mike

Amy and Mike’s wedding day ran a little differently to others. They were married in the morning, enjoyed a relaxed lunchtime reception ad then we did their formal photos later that afternoon. This worked out wonderfully for a few reason. 1. because it was wet earlier on in the day so having the photos later means we managed to avoid the rain and 2. Everyone was super relaxed and happy as they had been able to eat, mingle and have a few drink during the reception. Amy looked radiant and her bridesmaids dresses were like rays of sunshine. All yellow and gorgeous! It really was a perfect day and I’m so thankful to Amy and Mike for letting me be a part of it.

An Island Hideaway Wedding | Elaine & Jason

I swear these two are movie stars over in their homeland of Ireland and totally forgot to tell me! Their wedding has received so much attention over there and has appeared in more than one paper and magazine. The response to their wedding photos has been nothing short of amazing! Maybe I might be lucky enough to score some Irish Weddings to photograph in the near future.

Anyway, Elaine and Jason are the nicest people you will ever meet. They are funny, relaxed, laid back and so easy going. Their wedding day was a true reflection of their personalities and it was a real pleasure to share their special day with them. We had a fantastic time and I can’t thank them enough for having us along.

A little while ago I photographed the wedding of Jane and Nathan. This gorgeous couple were married at the quaint little Latrobe Chapel at Paddington and we travelled to the Woolsheds for the formal shots. A wonderful day was had by all and it was an absolute pleasure to spend this special day with Jane, Nathan and their family and friends.

Brisbane Engagement Photographer | Liz & Jeff

In less than a week I’ll be in Thailand and I can’t quite believe it. Me…Thailand!!!! For 7 whole days! It’s not all relaxing and sunbaking though. While I’m on this wonderful adventure I’ll be shooting Liz & Jeff’s wedding at the luxurious Indigo Pearl. In fact it’s because of Liz and Jeff that I have this wonderful opportunity to travel and see a place I’ve never been before. When they asked me to come to Thailand to photograph their wedding I was blown away. When I heard the plans they have for us while we’re over there, well I was pretty darn excited! This whole event is going to be HUGE and believe me, a lot of photos will be taken. In fact I think it’s going to take more than a couple of blog posts to document this trip. We have so many things planned and I can’t wait to share them with Liz and Jeff, who by the way are the cutest, funniest couple ever. They’ve been together eight years this September and originally met at a Ball where Liz caught Jeff’s eye (although Liz was too focused on having a good time to notice at first). Less than an hour after they met they knew they were meant for each other and they’re now busy planning a future of travel, kids and a home of their own. Now I get to share in part of those plans and I can tell it’s going to be ton of fun.

So while I go and do some last minute shopping for swimmers and get my spray tan on, I’ll leave you with a look at the gorgeous Liz and Jeff at their E-shoot. If they can look this good in suburbia, imagine how amazing they’ll look on the gorgeous beaches of Thailand. See you when I return!

Renee is the owner of Luminoso Blu, an awesome event planning business based in Brisbane and specialising in weddings, corporate and social events. I was lucky enough to have the pleasure of photographing her and her lovely little family not that long after they had welcomed their new baby girl, Azura, into the world. I spent some time in their gorgeous home capturing the whole family interracting, playing and sharing some special time together. We had a ball and I have no doubt Azura is a much loved and treasured new addition to her family.
