Babes in the Shade {Brisbane Commercial Photographer}

As you know I was lucky enough to be asked to do the photography for a new amazing Brisbane magazine Peekaboo. I am a little behind with sharing some of my images from our  feature stories for Issue 1.  These images are not ones featured in the magazine but some of my personal favs.

Babes in the Shade http://www.babesintheshade.com.au/ is a relatively new label which was started in August 2008.  Babes in the Shade sell gorgeous long sleeved UPF 50+ chlorine resistant sun protection rashies and sun shirts for children and kids.   To read more of this amazing success story be sure to get your hands on a copy of Peekaboo.  The Autumn edition will be out in March which is so exciting and will be even better than the first edition.

Peekaboo Magazine & The Family Photoshoot {Brisbane Family Photographer}

I am so lucky to be working with the amazing Bianca Shugg on her new magazine Peekaboo.  Peekaboo Magazine is home delivered monthly to Paddington, Ascot, Norman Park, Bulimba, Balmoral, Hawthorne and Newstead.  There is also another 11,950 copies available via local baby / children’s shops and subscription (email bianca@peekaboomagazine.com.au if you would like to be added to the subscription).   I received my box of mags yesterday and I have to say (without being biased of course) that this magazine is just oozing style and class and it really is one of it’s kind in Brisbane.

The official launch for the magazine is on Sunday at Mathilda’s Markets which is held at Brisbane Racing Club Eagle Farm www.mathildasmarket.com.au – come along and say hi to Bianca and grab your copy of Peekaboo.

Just over a month ago I was lucky enough to spend the afternoon with Bianca and her adorable family including her Nan who was here on holidays!    Here are some of my favs from the day!  I will also be blogging some photos from some of the photoshoots I have done for Peekaboo Magazine and more weddings!  Just need to find a few more hours in the day!

Picture Perfect {Brisbane Family Photographer}

Is the only way to describe this family!  I had the pleasure of meeting and photographing this family last weekend down at Springfield Lakes. I have to say I am falling in love with The Lakes – it is a hard place to shoot due to lighting but once you find the great spots and work with the light it is just incredible and every shoot I find another little winner!

We spent a lovely 2 hours getting to know each other, trying all different things (I had full reign on them which I love) and playing with the adorable little Miss M – and what a stunning wardrobe she has.  I think we did around 5 wardrobe changes – all of which were adorable.
