Gorgeous Ms Scarlett | Portrait Photographer

My trip to Sydney was such a great one as not only did I get to visit my family and spend time with them, but I also got to be reacquainted with old school friends. Marianne and myself were very good friends in primary school and although we didn’t “hang out” in high school we still remained friends. Almost 17 years on, we got reconnected on Facebook, and as such Marianne asked me to come visit and get some photos of her beautiful new daughter. We were hoping she would sleep just a little but I think these photos are beautiful in all their naturalness!

*Marianne, it was so lovely to see you again, you haven’t changed a bit and I hope to see you again next time I am in Sydney.

Petra is the owner of Mooce Clothing and I was completely flattered when she asked me to do not only a commercial shoot for Mooce, but also a family shoot for herself. We spent the afternoon down at Springfield Lakes and Petra’s very cute daughter kept me amused with her gorgeous little personality. We picked flowers, did some fish watching and just had a lovely afternoon.

Sharon is a friend of my sister, and I was so excited to photograph her and her gorgeous little girl. I always love it when everyone gets involved in a family shoot, so I was extremely happy to find out Sharon’s mum was also joining us for this session. We had heaps of fun and it was so enjoyable to spend the afternoon with such a lovely family.

Vandermeer Family | Brisbane Family Photographer

I had such a wonderful time when I photographed the Vandameer family. Linda is the owner of Bubble and Sweet and made an awesome cake to include in the shoot. It actually matched the dresses that the girls wore. How awesome is that! The whole family were beautifully styled and with three very cute kids to work with, we ended up with so many gorgeous images from the day. Here’s a little peak at just a few.

This gorgeous little family met up with me one sunny afternoon at Springfield Lakes. Now you would never know it by looking at these photos but Miss S started off the session a little unsettled. It wasn’t long though before we were graced with her gorgeous smiles, and let me tell you, it took everything in me not to squish those adorable chubby little cheeks! How insanely lucky am I to get to spend my afternoons meeting families as lovely as the Gee Family? No wonder I love my job so much!

Caroline and Scott have the most gorgeous little family and this shoot was made that little bit more special with Nonna coming along to share in the fun. We had a great afternoon reading books, enjoying the wonderful light and Seija even had her first experience at the beach. If you ask me, spending the afternoon with family members and sharing first experiences is the perfect way to have a family shoot! We had so much fun.

My Sister | Brisbane Family Photographer

Meet my sister Kathy and her beautiful little family. They’re gorgeous right?? I did this shoot for them a little while ago at The Spit where I was totally spoilt with amazing light. After some photos with the boys, Kathy and Elliot got to have a little shoot all of their own. The end result is stunning, even if in the process I almost got eaten alive by mozzies.

Thank you so much to Shara for looking after the boys so Kathy and Elliot could have some “couple” photos and also a big thanks to Erin Biggs for doing Kathy’s make-up.
