Naomi V Photography – Brisbane Photographer – 2011 – The Year that Was

So the year that was 2011…..wow what a year! If I think back to 2011 it is like a big wonderful blur! I think all up I have done over 150 shoots. I am sure 2012 will be just as busy however I am going to try really hard to find some balance and give a bit more back to my family & friends.

Anyway a big thank you to Kylie for 2nd shooting for me – you always do an amazing job and I am thankful for everything you do. Thanks also to the other girls this year that have helped out. Also thank you to my gorgeous couples, families & commercial vendors that put their trust in me. I love my job and am thankful that you allow me to continue doing what I love day in day out.

As mentioned earlier I still have a few blogs to finish up for 2012 but I thought i would put together a little slideshow of some images from a section of my shoots this year including weddings, e-shoots, portraits & commercial.

Happy New Year to everyone and here is hoping that 2012 is bigger & better than 2011 xx

Precious little Ms Mila Newborn Shoot

Yesterday I had gorgeous little Mila in the studio for her first photoshoot. We probably had around 10 mins sleeping time and Little Mila just wanted cuddles from Mum – so lifestyle shots it was. How amazing does KJ look? She was going to do some shots for me for a commercial brand that needed a “tummy” and we couldn’t even do it because she has pretty much returned to her normal shape 11 days after giving birth.

KJ & Wade – congrats on the birth of your gorgeous little girl. Can’t wait to watch her grow over the years.

Beautiful Little Oliver – Brisbane Newborn Photographer

On the 23rd September my beautiful little nephew Oliver was born. To say he in anything than perfect would be an understatement – with those beautiful lips and perfect skin – yes I think he is perfect. Just like his big brother Samuel – they look almost identical to each other too.

I was lucky enough to witness and capture the birth of Oliver and if you haven’ already viewed the slideshow you can click here to view. My sister was absolutely amazing and so strong throughout the birth – no drugs at all – she just sat on a ball in the shower the entire time and went in to her own little world!

Today I did the newborn shoot for Kathy with my amazingly talented friend Cass from Itty Bitty Photography. We used her studio and had such a great afternoon. Thank you Cass for everything!

Ok I know Kathy is dying to see these photos so enjoy. I have put them in to a lightbox this time as there was too many to share in a normal post – I couldn’t stop playing with them lol.

Newborn Goodness {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of capturing this special time in this family’s life. I had met them before when I did a family shoot for them around a year ago and it was just so nice to catch up with them again.

We had a really lovely session and had a pretty sleepy bubby to play with!

Here are some of my fav’s from the session! I will be doing my nephews shoot next Tuesday so stay tuned for those – very excited.

Sydney Sessions……..No 5

This is the last of my Sydney Sessions to be blogged and what a great time I had meeting everyone in Sydney! I am hoping to return later this year so if you are interested in a session please email at info@naomivphotography.com.au

This shoot took place down at Wollongong with this lovely family – you know a shoot is going to be great when they bring along lollypops and balloons and you didn’t even ask them too! We had a lovely time on the beach and kept shooting until the sun went down!

{Kerry it was so lovely to meet you all and thank you so much for making the long trip down to Wollongong for your shoot. I hope to see you again one day in Sydney and to hopefully meet some of your friends in the future – take care!}

Another Gorgeous Couple!

How gorgeous is this couple and her perfect little tummy? These guys are due to have their first baby in a few weeks and asked me to capture this special time in their lives – I am so glad they did as we had such a lovely afternoon together and I am really looking forward to meeting their new bundle of love!

The Adorable Mr "C" (for cute)

I have gotten so behind on blogging and just playing catch up’s now! A few weeks back I did the newborn shoot for Master C – what a cutie he is. Like what always happens to me and newborns – he just didn’t want to sleep – not that you would EVER know it looking at the photos. Lucky for me they live around the corner so I was able to go home and have some lunch and come back and try again – and come again the next day! Dad plays the guitar so it was only fitting that we put bubs on a guitar right! It worked out really well and I think it is definitely one of Dad’s favourite images.

{A&L – although it didn’t all go to plan I think we got some beautiful images for you to treasure – can’t wait until your wedding!}

Well I have been a very very bad blogger which I apologise for as I know some people do enjoy reading my blog and seeing what I am up too!

I did this lovely session a few months back and it was such a pleasure to meet these guys and adorable Master J. The session went really well and we had a very sleepy baby indeed.

Beautiful Maternity Shoot {Brisbane Maternity Photographer}

Today I did my first maternity shoot in a very long time – and it went so perfectly. I couldn’t have hoped for anything better!

Angela and Luke are due to have their little bub (who you can guess his name from the photos) in 5 weeks and are just so excited and full of love for him (and for each other of course). Â I didn’t have to travel far as they are pretty much neighbours. The day started off very overcast so I thought it would be good to go down to the lake to get some “lifestyle” shots but as soon as we got there the sun decided to pop out to say hi! Â We didn’t stay long there and pretty much did the rest of the shoot in their lovely home – I am sure I could of spent all day there coming up with different ideas for every piece of furniture they have!

{Thanks guys for today – it was one of the best maternity shoots I have done to date and I can’t wait to meet your little man. Â Also so excited to be shooting your wedding next year – it is going to be amazing}.

Squishy Little Newborn {Brisbane Newborn Photographer}

Today I had the best job in the world – to photograph this beautiful little one week old bub! Â To say he was perfect would be an understatement. Â We had a few little top ups but he was just so well behaved the entire time I was there.
