Kylie & Kris’ E-Shoot
As some of my regular readers would be aware I have been a very unmotivated blogger lately and you will also notice that my site looks different again. As much as I really liked my “old” site I just didn’t feel like it was really me and I was maybe trying to be something I wasn’t! So here I am back with my lovely black background (that is for you Deb!) and I think it really does showcase my images much better. Anyho – back to blogging!
A few weeks ago I did the E-Shoot for Kylie & Kris. They are getting married on Saturday at Topiaries and I can’t wait to shoot their wedding. Although they were a little nervous to begin with they quickly warmed up and we were laughing and having a lot of fun by the end of our shoot (not that you can by their images they were nervous – they were actually VERY relaxed with each other).
I plan to get back in to the blogging and have a number of shoots to blog including some other eshoots, commercial shoots and weddings! Had two beautiful weddings on the weekend which I can’t wait to share!
On a personal note I am SO EXCITED……….we booked tickets to America in February to go to the WPPI and also spend some time in New York, LA etc. I am also getting a shoot done in Central Park with one of the most amazing photographers and can’t wait to share.
Hope you like the “new” blogsite!
Till next time

Tara & Kenny's Wedding Day {Currumbin Wedding Photography}
How lucky am I – I get to spend my weekends with some of the loveliest people! And this day was no exception. A few weeks ago Tara married Kenny – and what a wonderful day it was. Tara was surrounded by her family while getting ready for her special day and I have to say she is one of the most relaxed brides I have had. Even when she had dramas with her wedding dress and the wedding car broke down on the way down the Coast, she remained calm, picked up her mobile – and called a cab to take her to the ceremony. Can you believe they wanted to charge her $220 – crazy! Of course that didn’t happen and everything turned out great!
The wedding ceremony was at Currumbin Beach and was attended by close family and friends! After the ceremony we had a fairly quick formal shoot (makes it a lot quicker when there isn’t an entire bridal party to work with) and got some images that I am sure Tara & Kenny will treasure forever.
{Tara & Kenny – you know how I feel about you guys – I think you two are just a match made in heaven and I am honored to have shot your wedding. I can’t wait to get the privilege again one day – more babies perhaps lol?}
Oh and Part 1 Part 2 weddings will be no longer – I am finding it hard to keep up with my blog as it is so I am just cutting down and trying to do more in Lightroom – for photographers interest all images in the getting ready shots/wedding are straight out of LR – I love editing in PS but just can’t justify the time for all images!
Shooting another beautiful wedding tomorrow – Laura & Chris – so stay tuned.
Till next time

PS – my blog is still not “fixed” so please excuse the badly centered photos – updates to website coming soon hopefully.

Dina & Sasha Part II {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
I have to say I am LOVING these photos. It is always fun seeing how you can transform a photo from a pretty nice photo to one that is going to make the client go “wow” (well you pray they will). The formal shoot for Dina & Sasha’s wedding was definately an interesting one. They wanted to do their photos at the Woolsheds and we got plenty of wool this day! When we got down there, we realised there was a MASSIVE festival going on – determined to get photos there we found parking and made the best of the situation! How surprised do you think we were when a flock of sheep walked past – and what is with the man wearing the “funky” outfit – so would that be a wolf dressed in sheeps clothing – mmmmmm!

Anyway needless to say we had a fun afternoon and finished it off with a coffee in the local coffee shop! We then made our way down to the Gold Coast to George’s on Paragon for a fun reception – it was seriously like nothing I have seen before and the emotion even got me!
{Dina & Sasha – thank you again for choosing me as your photographer. It has been wonderful getting to know you and I hope to keep in touch and even photograph that beautiful family you are going to have one day! Oh and don’t forget a move to Springfield Lakes is a good move lol}
Till next time

Kirsten & Wade's Beautiful Wedding Day – Part I
A few weekends ago I had the pleasure of witnessing the beautiful marriage between KJ and Wade. I have been so looking forward to this wedding for a while now – KJ is the graphic designer for Peekaboo Magazine!
The day started off with KJ getting ready at the Mount Cotton Guesthouse which was a beautiful place and made for awesome photos (not to mention a fantastic little treasure trove for details shots). KJ looked absolutely stunning as I am sure you will agree and she was so calm and collected – I think one of the most “together” brides ever! And how awesome are her shoes – I think they were placed on every piece of furniture in the house!
Thanks also to Kylie for coming to help me out – always fun!
Today I am sharing with you the detail and getting ready shots – part II will come tomorrow!
{KJ and Wade – hope you love your photos and have had a great honeymoon in Hawaii. Look forward to catching up soon to view your images}
Till next time
