Marina & Rod's Wedding Day {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
Last Thursday I got to witness what was the most beautiful, touching wedding! Marina & Rod asked me to be their photographer last minute and I am so glad they did (turns out we only live a few houses away from each other)! Marina looked absolutely AMAZING and I am sure everyone that was in her hotel with her before the wedding would agree. The wedding was held at the Treasury Casino in Brisbane and was followed by their reception at Southbank.
Although we had limited time after the ceremony for their formal shoot we managed to get some stunning photos which I am sure Marina and Rod will treasure forever. Once again I cannot choose my favourite photos so have put them in a slideshow with a quick sneak peak below (these images are my “fun” images). Press here for the slideshow link. You can also access the images on my facebook “fan” page here
Also a thank you to my lovely friend Maureen for coming and helping me out on the day – you rock!
{Marina and Rod, thank you so much for having me there on your special day. I loved meeting your beautiful families. Will be in touch soon}

Ashleigh & Scott's Wedding Day {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
Two weeks ago I had the pleasure of photographing the wedding of Ashleigh and Scott. Â Ashleigh looked absolutely stunning as did her bridesmaids! Â The wedding took place at Froggies beach (I am seem to be a regular there these days) and was filled with so much love. Â After the wedding we made our way to Coolangatta St Augustines Church for our formal shoot. Â We had SO much fun but how can you not with such a fun bridal party. We then headed to Currumbin for the last photos and just managed to catch the last bit of light.
Thanks also to Sheila Higgens for helping me out on the day!
For this post I have some photos from the bridal getting ready and the ceremony. The formal shoot photos will come in a day or so. Â I have to also apologise for the delay in this post. Â I have been flat out and attended a workshop with Shelton Muller and Glynn Lavender. Â Photos to come – had such a great time.
{Thanks guys for making Sheila and myself so welcomed – we really felt like a part of your day. Will be in touch soon x}
Sabine & Karl's Wedding Day {Brisbane Wedding Photographer}
Some weddings really touch me, and this was one of them. Sabine and Karl have to be one of the most beautiful couples that I have ever met. Click here for the link to their engagement shoot http://naomivphotographyblog.com.au/?p=1987
The wedding was held at Albert River Winery in their beautiful little chapel and Sabine walked down the Aisle to the song “want to grow old with you” – you know the one that Adam Sandler “sang” in the wedding singer! They also had their friend singing it which made it even more lovelier. I found it very hard to stop the tears from falling to that one – it was just so beautiful and obviously meant so much to them.
After the ceremony they released two doves (a gift from Karl to Sabine) which was great and then we stayed around the amazing Albert River Winery for their formal shoot. We were literally shooting in lightning infested weather – gave some dramatic skies and running from one amazing spot to the other “quick lets do this before it pours” – and it did pour – on me running from my car to the reception venue.
Now speaking of the reception, Sabine and Karl have been having dancing lessons for the last few months and did the most amazing dance to the Patrick Swayze song “Time of My Life” – another tear jerker!
{Guys thank you so much for choosing me as your wedding photographer – I am totally honored to have met you both. I hope you had a great relaxing time in Fiji and I can’t wait to hear all about it}.
Thanks also to Cass from Grazac Photography for helping out on the day – always fun to shoot with you!
Here are a few of my favourite images which I have also used as the new photo on my website splash page. Go and check out some of the changes www.naomivphotography.com.au.

This would have to be one of my all time favourite wedding photos!

These were taken with no flash on ISO 3000 if I remember correctly. Got to love the Canon 5D Mark II.
